What we do

The HWA promotes the interests of Hampton Wick for everyone who lives in, works in or visits the village.  We are a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers and funded by members’ subscriptions, donations and local sponsors.

Events

We organise The Hampton Wick Summer Fair, The Fish & Chips Quiz Night (where teams compete for the Hampton Wick Milk Bottle) and The Christmas Carols evening. We are also very active in helping organise the Remembrance Day Parade and Chestnut Sunday in Bushy Park.

News and Information

We produce 3 or 4 packed newsletters each year.  Our website at www.hamptonwick.org.uk is frequently updated with Hampton Wick news and stories.  We maintain two village noticeboards and we run a free Hampton Wick email newsletter service that is available to all - see website for more details and to sign up.

Campaigns

We are currently campaigning for better road design in the High Street to curb speeding; for improvements to the environment around the Library; for our Church building to be re-opened; and for action to control late night anti-social behaviour at the Hampton Wick side of Kingston Bridge.
