The Hampton Wick Association is a volunteer-run organisation which seeks to protect and enhance Hampton Wick and the communal life of everyone here.

What data do we collect and why?

Name, email address, street address, postcode, telephone number, how did you hear about us

To record your membership, to maintain membership records.
To contact you about the activities of the Hampton Wick Association including appeals for funding, forthcoming meetings and events, and announcements relating to Hampton Wick.

Where is your data stored?

Data is stored securely by officers and nominated committee members of the HWA.

Names and email addresses are held remotely by our bulk emailing service, Mailchimp whose privacy policy can be found here: https://mailchimp.com/gdpr/

Some email addresses, e.g. for specific club members, are held by officers of the Hampton Wick Association on Microsoft and Android devices and in the cloud. Access is controlled by passwords.

Who else has access to your data?

The Hampton Wick Association promise never to sell or share your data with any third party.

How to view your data or ask for it to be removed

Contact us and we will provide you with a copy of all the data we hold that is connected with your name and/or your email address. If you wish to be removed from our email news list simply click the Unsubscribe button included in every newsletter we send. Alternatively contact us to ask for your data to be altered or removed entirely from our systems. We guarantee to respond within two working days.
