The HWA is pleased to present a FREE exhibition at Hampton Wick Library: LIFE STORIES
Local charity, the Teddington & Hampton Wick Voluntary Care Group local charity (TedCare) has collected the life stories of some of the longest living residents in our community. These recollections of living and working in Teddington and Hampton Wick from the 1930s to the present day create a fascinating picture of how our communities have changed in that time.
The HWA has collaborated with TedCare to publish a booklet, “Life Stories”, which will be distributed locally to raise awareness for the charity. We have also created an exhibition featuring highlights from the life stories. The exhibition was displayed at the event to launch the book on 25th September – click here to see photos.
The exhibition will be at Hampton Wick Library from 26th September to 5th November. You can also pick up a free copy of the booklet.
Hampton Wick Library (Bennet CLose, KT1 4AT) is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
