Richmond in Bloom - we did it again!

We were delighted to see Hampton Wick win a prestigious Silver Merit Award in this year’s Village in Bloom awards for the whole borough.

Mark Merrington, Chair of the HWA, is pictured receiving the award from the Mayor of Richmond, Councillor Ben Khosa, in a packed York House.

Special thanks are due to all the people who helped to achieve this, in particular, Jenny Bourne, Chris Drayson, St John’s Church, the Royal Paddocks Allotments, the Friends of Hampton Wick Library and the pubs of the village which go to such lengths with their floral displays.

Congratulations also to the individual Hampton Wick winners in Richmond in Bloom – The White Hart and Ingram House – both of which received Gold Merit Awards and to the overall winner of Village in Bloom, Lower Twickenham Village (being the area of Twickenham from Sandys, the fishmongers, to the end of Church Street).
