HWA and councillors celebrate funding award

Members of the HWA and Friends of Hampton Wick Library, along with local councillors gather to celebrate the award of £86,283.58 for improvements to our village hall (aka Bullen Hall) and the hall/Library shared facilities which will also allow the Library to open at lunchtimes.
The improvements will include a much improved and enlarged kitchen; a redesigned central area to provide much needed storage space; modern AV and comms equipment for the village hall; modern lightweight and flexible furniture and much more.
The award was made after a two-year effort by the HWA and The Friends of Hampton Wick Library and we are grateful to councillors – past and present – for their on-going support of the project.
