HWA brings Christmas to Hampton Wick – Harry Potter style!
Sunday 15th December 2019
In a race against time (10 months!) the council were ultimately unable to find a suitable replacement for our almost-dead Christmas tree.
However, the Hampton Wick Association (HWA) stepped in at the last minute to bring some magic to the poor tree – in true Harry Potter style!
This has come just in time for our flagship Christmas event this coming Wednesday 18th December. Don’t miss the magical Hampton Wick Christmas Carols evening which starts at the Library with children’s Christmas story telling at 5:45pm.
After the stories, the children will be given glow bands and led from the Library by the Fulham Brass Band playing seasonal tunes, arriving at the village centre Christmas tree in time for the carols starting at 6pm.
Following the carols, Santa will arrive with presents for all the (good) children.
During this FREE event brought to you by the HWA there will be free gingerbread men for the children kindly provided by Hampton Wick Health.
The event concludes with free mulled wine and children’s lucky dip kindly provided by Holland Hahn and Wills (corner of Old Bridge Street).
Thanks to HWH and HHW who are both HWA business members, and apologies to the Harry Potter franchise for the use of their name in this article ;-)
Happy Christmas to all our readers!
