HWA 2021 Annual General Meeting

Sunday 21st February 2021

HWA 2021 Annual General Meeting

Covid has again put paid to our traditional AGM, so we are attempting to achieve the essential functions of the meeting through other means. These are exceptional times but we are trying to stick as closely as possible to the principles of the Constitution.

The key functions of the AGM are: to approve the previous AGM minutes and address any matters arising; approve the Treasurer’s Report and, if necessary, elect the officers and Committee members for the coming year.

The purpose of this email is to allow you to:

  • Email or send us us any matters arising from the 2019 AGM minutes – click here to read the 2019 AGM minutes;
  • Raise any other issues you think should be addressed;
  • Let us know if you are interested in standing for the Committee.

The deadline for the above is Monday 8th March 2021. Emails should be sent to info@hamptonwick.org.uk and other communications to 2 Baygrove Mews, Hampton Wick, KT1 4HD.

We will email you again later in March and ask you to approve the 2019 AGM minutes, the Treasurer’s Report for 2019 and the HWA Treasurers Report 2020, and if necessary, vote to elect the Committee for 2021/22. These documents, together with the HWA Chairmans Report AGM 2021 will be available on the website and via paper on request. Voting will take place online or by post as necessary.

Please note: only votes cast by those who are full members at the time of voting shall count. Click here to join or rejoin now.

We will be publicising the AGM via our usual channels – noticeboards, website, email, etc but if you know of any HWA member who may not be aware, please let us know so that we can inform them.

Thank you for your understanding, and let’s hope that next year we can go back to normal.

Chair, Hampton Wick Association
