HWA Quiz Night a sell-out success!

Hampton Wick’s much-anticipated Quiz Night returned in 2022 after the pandemic. The event took place in the newly refurbished Bullen Hall, and all the tickets sold out in advance.

Eleana’s Bistro on the High Street provided ‘supper-in-a-box’ for the half-time break, and everyone enjoyed the very tasty Mediterranean skewers and salads.

The cash bar did good trade, with many tables sharing bottles of wine amongst the quizzers.

Hampton Wick’s very own Quizmaster General, David Rees, came up with another of his fiendish sets of questions to put the ten teams through their paces. The final scores were very close with all teams having between 22 and 28 points. A nail-biting tie-breaker (“write down the number Pi to as many decimal places as you can”) gave victory to Five Guys & Mrs G – a well deserved triumph!
