New Book Club launched

Friday 1st May 2026 saw the inaugural meeting of the HWA Friday Book Club.
Annie Murray has set up the Club, which meets on the first Friday of every month at 12.30pm at Hampton Wick Library.
There has been an enthusiastic response with 12 people turning up at the first meeting. The book of the month was The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, which sparked a lively debate and a range of opinions.
Annie says: “This is another opportunity for people to come out to the Library, to meet new friends with a shared love of reading. It’s an informal, friendly group, not highbrow or literary in approach.”
